    Its mess up about taxes n what they do
    Can I file taxes if I own chl support n I'm on ssi disable. Can't work n don't get no other icome but that

    Moved from Introductions to taxes.

    You HAVE to file taxes if you earn over a certain amount of income.
    If you earn less than the required amount, you "can" but do not have to.

    Is there a reason you don't want to file taxes ?

    SSI income is not taxable. SS disability may be taxable if you have other income.
    Since you do not have any income, there is no benefit in filing the tax return.
