    Friction word problems
Both dana and rachel push a heavy desk across the floor at the same time that glen and akemm pull on it. Dana and rachel exert the same forces. Glen pulls on the desk exerting a 150 N foce and akeem pulls exerting a 12 N force. There is also a 200 N friction force exerted on the desk. The net force exerted on the desk is 275 N and I need to know if the desk is moving with a constant velocity or is it speeding up and also what will happen after a few seconds if the boys stop pulling?

Are all four on the same side of the desk?
Net force is non-zero. So what do you think will happen according to Newton's 2nd law? Will the velocity remain constant? Or will it change?
