Removing fused aluminium foil on glass cooktop
I left alumionium foil by mistake on my brand new kitchenaid cooktop, now it has silver stain that looks like it's fused on the glass cooktop. I used a razor to scrap and some came off but there's still fused silver stain that won't come off. I also tried turning the stove on to the minimum temperature hoping the heat will loosen the bond, I even tried vinegar, but nothing worked. Any better way to remove the silver stain?

Turn the cooktop up to about 200, get a very damp cloth, almost soaking (just enough wet that the water don't run from it), and place it on top of the foil andpress firmly, leave for a few minutes and remove cloth now use some sort of scraper to remove the foil.

The solution behind it is to raise the foil up from the surface with steam that should get underneath it.
