Old movie title
Not sure if there is anyone who can help me, but I am trying to remembe a title of a black and white film from when I was a young girl where there is an old woman in a type of mansion. Outside there is a large group of reporters all trying to get an interview with the old llady. One young reporter manages to break in and eventually persuades the old lady to give her an interview... hence the film begins and the old lady tells her life story... I seem to remember her meeting some young lad who wears a davy crocket hat... really can't remember the middle part that well, but the ending is that the reporter decides not to write the story... cannot remember why. Please help with the title.:
