    How to transfer a deed
My dad is buying some property from my mom. We need to transfer the deed to my dad. The property is completely paid for. Do we need to go through an attorney to transer the deed or is this something we can take care of ourselves?

While you could maybe do it, the cost of a title company or an attorney is not that high compared to the mistakes that can happen
