    Cable size required
I have a house 60m from a transformer 240v single phase 50hz, and a shed which is 220m from the transformer. I want to run under ground power to both from the transformer. Is 220m to far to run this power to the shed, If not what size/type of cable do I require. The shed is not a workshop rather it will be renovated into a house at a later date.

Really need to know what the total maximum anticipated load in amperes, watts, or kilowatts, to do voltage drop calculations.

Any wire installed will need insulation to be rated for wet locations first, if pulled in conduit, or rated for direct burial if that is the method used.

I, and several others here only know American types of wire, we can give you wire size in metric, but will not know the types of insulation available to you in your country.

Check with your local authority having jurisdiction over electrical installations for these types of wire, methods, etc. allowed. Get back with the loads and we can help size the wire. Ask the AHJ for any advice or requirements regarding voltage drop.

Before answering such question different factors must be taken into account.
Not only distance. Usage of buildings must be known as well as the loads needed to be supplied. Methods od Installation of different circuits e.t.c.. Proper design must be made.
