    Singing over Parental Rights
I live in Columbus, Ohio. My sons father is willing to sign over his parental rights... not that he has ever been one to begin with BUT... How should we go about this? What forms do I fill out? What numbers do I call? ETC ETC> I want to get this done and over with asap because I don't want him to come into the picture years down the road and have the right to take my son out of my home by himself while I stand by helplessly and watch. I would never... even after the signing... stop him from being a father. However I know that I have to use my best judgment as a mother and my son learning his fathers habits are not what is best for my child. Can anyone help me?

I suggest you have your attorney or other legal professional in this field handle this for you. You don't want to have any loopholes in all the paperwork. This why he can't cause problems in you or your child's life later. Make sure every t is crossed and every I dotted leave nothing no matter how minor left undone.

I agree that THERE IS NO A WAY TO VOLUNTARY RELINQUISHMENT... TPR is the better way!
