    Remote Desktop Control
    Hi,
If I browse internet on remote computer using remote desktop control, it is possible to get some malware on local computer? In other words, antivirus software on local computer can detect and store information about visited pages on remote computer?
    Thank you!

Theoretically, yes, depending on the local resources that are mapped.

Generally no, although it would depend on the capabilities of the specific antiviral product in use. Antivirus software typically scans individual files in the local disk system or on a network drive instead of pages.

No, Anti-Virus software on your local PC cannot protect against any malware rthat occurs on remote PC pages. When you use Remote Desktop/VPN it becomes it's own application and utilizes no software/apps on the local PC. It only protects once you bring something across the network and ON to the local PC. Then Anti-Virus will scan it (hopefully)! THe best way to assure your safe is making sure that your remote PC has an anti-virus running while you remote in using the local PC.

I apologize I misread the question! I got the local and remote PC's reversed! But it's the same concept, if you remote in to the local PC and surf the web for example any Anti-Virus on the local PC shoud (depending) act as if you're right there surfing and not elsewhere, it should scan the pages , etc... just the same because of the reource usage

I'm not completely sure I understand the question fully, but hopefully this helps!
