    Month-to-Month Lease
I am in California and lease a commercial building on a month-to-month lease. My lease does not state that I need to give a 30 day notice to move out. Do I have to? If I do, does it have to be in writing?

Yes, you need to do this in writing so you have proof that you indeed did inform the landlord of your vacating.
