I'm keeping trash!
Somebody, please help me! Ever since, about Monday, December 8th, I've been keeping trash, such as: tissues, napkins, forks, wrappers, etc. I don't know why! Some of my friends say that it is because I'm too depressed. I keep my own trash, and sometimes my family's trash, such as cards or plates, etc. I even sometimes pick up, and keep stuff from the ground, like paper scraps, etc! This is a huge problem for me, one of the many reason is because I keep all the trash in a bag under my bed, and I'm keeping it a secret from everyone. Another reason is because I'm going to Las Vegas for Christmas, so definitely a lot of trash at restaurants, and my family Christmas Party on Friday, which means a lot of wrappers!
Somebody please help me! Anyone!
Thanks

Hi, JH1121!
I'd like you to stop and think about something, if you would, please? Whose in charge of your obsession and overcoming it, you or someone else?
Please think about that...
Thanks!

It's not really as much of a obsession as it is a force of habit now. And I'm in charge of this problem. I just can't seem to let people throw away some trash, and I can't throw away any of my trash, and I usually pick up trash from the ground now.

Yeah... no one else can help you. Obsessive compulsive disorder.
I don't know... just keep telling yourself how dirty the trash is... or see someone for some pshycological help.

As southerngalps said,OCD.
You just THINK your in control, that's what the disorder tells you,and it is very believable.
Ask a professional, they will help you see the truth. And treatment does work, you just have to try.

I guess I kind of contradicted myself here. Said no one else can help you, then said see a professional.
I meant no one will be able to help you here. We can tell you our feelings. But ocd is a disease and you can seek help professionally.
