Two baseboards to an upstairs radiator circuit.
I added two baseboards to an upstairs radiator circuit. I bled it and have water coming out of the bleeder valve. All other radiators get hot downstairs but I cannot get hot water upstairs, only cold. Any ideas? Thanks!!

    Hi Jimmy...

You say you " have water coming out of the bleeder valve", but exactly HOW MUCH WATER did you get out of the bleeder valve(s)?

If you are sure you did not pipe this incorrectly... then I would bet that you simply need to take more air out of the pipes. Sometimes I've needed to release CUPS AND CUPS of water/air before I finally get that last bit of air out that allows circulation to begin. Anything that spits/sputters is air... take your time and remove it from the system/pipes/baseboard.

If possible, temporarily lift/pitch the new baseboard pipes toward the vent with vent being highest... that should help some more.

Be sure to bleed radiators of all air, too... cups and cups if needed... until you see ONLY WATER COME OUT.

Let me know what you find...
