Making a 6 volt security light
Have 6 volt battery and charger with a light that came with the battery.Would like to know "is it possible to use a motion sensor in conjunction with this apparatus?". I've been told I could but would need a transformer. I have one but it has two(2) blue and two(2) white wires coming from it. Where would I connect them, if they're useable?

Most Motions I know of are 120 or 12 volts.
Primary of transformer hooks to 120 volts, output hooks to charging board. If no terminal for the light hook to battery, now break that connection to the light, and connect to Normally open contacts on motion.
Transformer needs to be the correct one, not all will work for this, needs to match board voltage required.

The Charging board needs the correct voltage, correct transformer, and you have a 6 volt battery for backup during AC outage, a 12 volt detector would need 12 volts, a 12 volt battery and charging circuit, and battery would take care of outages, keeping everything at 12 volts would be easier?
