    Two NIC in one PC
    Hello
I have two different networks. One is with static ip through which I connect to a network and the other is used for connecting to internet for which we don't use any static ip.
After we connected we found that the one with static ip works and internet doesnot.

When you do an ipconfig, what ip address do you get?

What operating system are you running?

Have you double checked your tcp/ip stack to ensure the static ip is in the correct connections?

U can use internet with th static nic . No need to use additional nic for internet. For getting iternet with static ip u have to add the dns number of the internet connection. U can ask the dns number from your internet provider.

Not always true. If you have a static dns on a dynamic isp they will not always support. I know that when I am speaking with a customer(and I work for an isp) I will always have a customer remove the static. Also it sounds like he wants a dedicated NIC for his network from what I read.
