    It depends on how you're house is laid out, but usually you want it below a return on an inside wall, away from windows or electronics in a common living area. Make sense?

    I have always felt that the best location for a thermostat is San Diego, Ca.

Sheetrock was put up on both sides of a wall where our thermostat wires were located. Is there anyway that we can locate the end of this wire without cutting into the sheetrock at various places? The wire is curled up in the wall where the thermostat was to be located.
