    How do I place a lien on a property?
    The Tittle Company will not close the sale because the legal ownership cannot be establised. The house will be abandoned. I am the executor of the Will. I have invested a large amount of money maintaining the property. How do I place a lien on the property to recover my money?

    I'm confused why the Executor personally and not the estate spent the money - can you clarify that?

    Why can't the title be established? And if the property can't be sold, that what good is filing a lien against it?
