My 14 year old autistic grandson is receiving up to 41 calls a day at school from a restricted #. Sometimes they try to disguise their voice, but you can tell it is a teenage boy calling from school. We have tried to get the school to do something, but they say they can't tell who it is, Alltel won't do anything, and neither will the cops. We have told this person to stop and that the police are aware of his calling, but he doesn't. Any suggestion where we can turn? We have changed the number, rejected restricted calls, etc. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Maybe you should switch cellphones company. If you know who is doing it you can always file a police report regardless if the cops take you serious.

Some cellphone companies will change the phone number for free if you tell them you are receiving harassing calls... but even if they won't do it for free just pay the fee and get him new number. I see you said you changed the number already, obviously these calls are from someone he gives the number to. You can also block all calls from restricted numbers, call the cell phone company to set this up.

Change the number, how many times have you called the police, have you spoken to someone other than a uniform officer, a dect or even the DA office

We have talked to uniformed officers. I was wondering about talking to a Dective or the DA The cellphone co. now said that they need a court order before they will look into it. I just don't understand why they won't help and why they make it so difficult for the victim. This kind of harassment is against the law

There is a service that can play the classic, "the number you have reached is not in service" message to any number you want. The service can also unmask a blocked caller without the caller even knowing.
