    Cervical smear
One of my closest had undergone PAP SMEAR TEST on the advice of her doctor. The impression of the report shows inflammatory smear. Now herconsultant has advised to go
For D&C with Cervical biopsy. Plese advice whether she should go for the same or there are other course for clinically co-relation of the stage. Please note that she already underwent for D&C in 2006 where the biopsy report reflects chronic cervicitis.

She would likely be wise to go with her doctor's recommendation. The consultant knows what they are wanting to check for and what means would probably be best to obtain this information.
She certainly doesn't want to take the chance of something being missed if they did a less invasive procedure.
