    .jpg files opening in Word
I don't know what I've done to my computer, but whenever I try to open a jpg attachment it tries to open it in word and I end up getting a File Conversion window popping up and I can't seem to view the jpg.

Can anyone offer any advice on how to fix this problem so I can view jpg's in the normal fashion.

    Many thanks in advance.

    • Open up My Documents
    • Click on Tools > Folder Options
    • Click on the File Types tab
    • Scroll down and find JPG, then click on the Change button
    • Scroll down the list of program choices and locate your Picture viewing program.

NOTE: If you don't have IrfanView installed, I could not recommend it enough. It's a fantastic, small, powerful and FREE picture viewing and converting utility.

Download it here: IrfanView - Reviews and free IrfanView downloads at Download.com

    • Make sure there is check mark next to Always use the selected program to open this kind of file and click on OK, then Close

    Voilą!
