Gas furnace works few days goes out.
We have had three different techs out because our Carrier Gas furnace went out the
First one change the ignighter switch it worked a while then went out again 3 days later
The 2nd tech came out he tested everything says its nothing wrong with it but maybe the
Safety switch is sticking so he worked on it awhile left and it work again for 3 or 4 days
The 3rd tech came back out cleared some coils which he could not believe the other two
Techs had not done and said that should fix it well it worked again for 4 or 5 days this time
And it went out again yesterday. We flip the breaker and it comes back on so it sounds
Electrical or maybe the thermostate? Any ideas anyone? The furnace is 17yrs old never
    Malfunctioned until now.

If it operates after fliping the circuit breaker you are doing a reset. Now if it was me I would be calling the company back since you spent big $$$ and your unit is still not working. Anything here will be guess work since we are not there to check it ourselves. The circuit board could be a problem as well as pressure switches.

No heat will blow out of furnace. Was told by heating and air conditioning person that it was overloaded because we set the thermostat to high all at once. A/C works fine for days, then stops working for about 8 hours. [ 2 Answers ]

A/C in the past few weeks turns on and off; last night the A/C was not working and the thermostat was blank. Then, by itself, it suddenly kicked in and started blowing cold air and thermostat showed the temp. This occurs once in a while. Works fine for days, then suddenly stops working for about...

Quirky Furnace Works Only When It Wants [ 1 Answers ]

I'm unsure of the actual age/make/model of the unit but I am told it's not very old, it's forced air, and is gas. From time to time the furnace will work just fine for a day or so and then it will simply not come on for a couple of days. The thermostat was replaced with a fancy digital one and we...

Nothing works on A/C or furnace! [ 5 Answers ]

I turn my a/c and furnace to off during the day and at night sometimes to save on our bills. This morning when we turned it to heat, nothing happened. I tried troubleshooting it by jumping the wires, red to white, and nothing. Tried yellow to green for the blower, again nothing. Took off the blower...
