What should I do with 150K?
Hi,
I read different posts but I couldn't find my answer.
I have 150K and I would like to open my own business:
1) what kind of business in this economy?
2) how can I make that happen?
3) what should I need?
Or, what should I do with 150K?
Thanks

150K is really not a lot of money to open a business with, dependent of course on what kind of business you want to open.
Do you have any ideas? Restaurants are really out of the question right now with this economy.

Hello c:
I think you're asking the wrong question... People who succeed in business do so, because they have a passion for what they do. Even in THIS economy, any good business will succeed.
I don't know what your passions are. Do you like to make things? Do you like to fix things? Do you like to sell things? What things do you like? Cars? Food? Machines? Toys? Clothes? Football? What is your expertise/education? High school? College? Business school? What kind of work do you do now? Do you want to be a CEO that works in an office? Or do you want to work in a shop? Or a factory? Do you like clean hands, or is a little dirt under your fingernails OK? Do you have any experience in your own business? How old are you?
So, if you answer some of MY questions, I can answer yours.

Thanks for your answer... My name is Carlos, 31 y/o, industrial engineer... currently unemployed and living in FL-USA. I have worked as a Production Manager, Project Evaluator, Pharamacy Research Engineer, etc. but I have reached a point where I'd like to have my own business. My apssion?? Hmmm Environmental issues. For the past 10 months I have tried to put up a free eco-network but it has been extremely difficult. So I have been trying to come up with other ideas in the same filed... I enjoy managing resources and producing products and or services that involve life improvements.

Hello again, Carlos:
Tell me more. I have no idea what that is, but if it's something people want, I can show you how to make money doing it.

I would suggest you look into franchise opportunities. Find a business you think you will enjoy then contact their franchise department.
