    Deceased? Who can get the money from the account
    My father was just deceased and he had a checking account. I have his PIN and his bank card. If I use this and get money from his account will I be doing something against the law?

    In a word - yes. Nothing can be touched until there is a legal determination concerning legal heirs and distribution of his assets. The bank may very well have been notified of his death and you could have some explaining to do.

    Now - if it's a joint account it's a different story.
