    Wow, that's horrible. :(

Now, if we could get the 14 year old a chastity belt, that might be worth looking into. My daughters is already on order for when she turns 14. ;)

I always have to laugh, everyone thinks boys are trouble, they don't compare to a 14 year old girl.

    Hard admission here...

My daughter is now 22,single,still recovering from genital warts,, and pregnant.

I am so disappointed with her.But who am I to judge her,her mother and I were pregnant with her at 19 and 20... at least we were together though...

I wasn't there when she was 14,she moved in with me when she turned 16 and left when she was 18,then back last year for 9 months and found out she knew it all... that's when she contracted the std and has been active even with it.

I am ashamed to admit it,but it is what it is.

The child will be born c-section due to the std.

Wow,that last one affected me harder than I expected.

Sorry so earth bound, guess I am getting every one down right now,but the timing was right for this.

Ken, it's good to talk about things that are on your mind.

Okay, you shared, so will I.

I was molested by my cousin when I was 5 years old, my female cousin. That really screwed me up.

From the age of 14 until I met my hubby at 19 I was, for lack of a more politically correct term, a slut. I didn't care about myself one little bit. I too got an STD but I was lucky, a few months of pills and it was all cleared up. I couldn't get pregnant, had a misshapen uterus which I didn't find out about until I was 20. Good thing too, because even though I tell all the teens on the site to use protection, I hardly ever did. I had my first aids test when I was 17 and I was terrified. Once again, I got lucky. Another aids test at 18 because I was raped.

We all have a past, we all have a future, and you're right, it is what it is. There's no use worrying about something you can't change, there's only learning to accept it.

So, now that you know about me, can you accept me? Are you ashamed to know me? If not, then don't be ashamed of your daughter. She's your flesh and blood, she made mistakes, she's paying for them, and she needs you. If you want to talk I'm here, heck, I'll PM you my email address if you want. Just say the word. :)

I have been dancing with this mikebrit guy about the necessity for medications for about a week now,he seems to think people should 'tough it out' to get past depression.

KILL KILL KILL, no really,it's tough being nice to the ignorant.

    I agree with you Ken.

I used to balk at the idea of medication for depression, then both my parents up and died on me within 6 1/2 months of each other.

I've been on them since 2001, I've tried going off them a few times, it's not pretty.

I'm on celexa, it's relatively mild were anti depressants are concerned. It doesn't change my personality, just smooths over some of the rough edges. I know, you're going to say that you like it rough. Is your mouth hanging open in awe? Didn't know I could read minds huh? Hee, hee, na, I just know you guys all too well. ;)

My son is now on meds for his ADHD, a lot of people told me that putting him on meds would be borderline child abuse. He's on something called Stratera. Is it really child abuse to give your child a drug that helps him concentrate, helps him in school, helps him be the kid he wants to be? He's so happy now, he's doing great in school, he's reading, he's writing, he's doing all the things he always wanted to do, all because of a little pill. If that's child abuse then take me to jail and throw away the key!

Drugs have a purpose, and telling someone to tough it out, well that's just crazy! I'd like to see those people in pain, or depressed, or suffering from a disorder. I bet they'd change their tune pretty quick then.

Oooh, that was a vent. :)

Um, ah, that wasn't me Starby, that was my evil twin, Balty, yup, she snuck in, hit me over the head and started typing. She's a mean one, but don't worry, I have her tied up in the bedroom, she won't get loose, so no worries.

Ken, um, why are you going up to my bedroom? Oh, you're checking on Balty, I see. You'll be back in 3 hours? Why? Oh, you're going to build her a dresser, okay. But 3 hours, that's not enough time to build a dresser. Oh, you meant shelf, okay, and the noise is just you hammering the shelf together, I see. Okay, see you later. ;)
