    Is there a FUSE?
Two out of four heating elements in my 5years old GE electric range are not working. I have changed the sockets and new elements. Still no electricity is reaching the sockets. Before I, start the major surgery; can some one please tell me if there is a fuse, which may be blown, or what seems to the problem? Where should I look? Thanks:confused:

Might be a defective infinite switch (located behind the control panel, with the burner knob on its shaft). Replace the switch if found defective.

If not, what model # and I will look for a site for it.

What is probability that both switches are bad? Also I am sorry it is not GE but Frigidaire
Electric Range. Could not found the model number! Again, is there a fuse in ranges?

Instead of me guessing at the problem here are a few sites you can look into.

    I like this one best:
Frigidaire Electric Kitchen Range Troubleshooting, Problems & Support by FixYa

    Or this one:Frigidaire.com Site Index

    Good luck:)

Finally I dare to open the back panel of the range and with the help of multi meter, found that switch was not getting the voltages. I took out the switch and there are 5 connections. On the switch only these
3 numbers make sense. They are 316436001,NL812448 and 0518301. Also there is a monogram saying SA. Other things are 240V, 2100-2500W and 8.8-10.8A. Assembled in Mexico. (Of course)
Any idea where can I find it and how much? Thanks

Any one of these sites will be helpful to finding the exact parts.

    Hope this helped:)
