    20 yr old felony
    I am interested in becoming a Environmental Polce Officer.. Unfortunately I have a felony charge that happened 20 yrs ago.. Can I get the job? Can I employ an FID card... Mike

    Where? Does the application address criminal history?

    No one knows definitely except the agency where you are applying.

    Well it is in MASS. And it is a officer position.

    Yup. The feds have a looooooong memory.

    But, because it's 20 years ago, you very well could qualify for a pardon. I'd certainly look into it. THEN you can carry. You'll need an attorney.

    Website indicates there are several arms of this agency, all considered law enforcement, some armed and some not. There is an ability (and sometimes requirement, depending on staffing) to move from one arm to another so I would say, yes, they are armed or must qualify to carry arms.

    Agreed - pardon through Attorney is the way to go.
