    Can I be pregnant?
    Hi!
    My husband and I want another baby. Is it possible to get pregnant right before your period? Can you be pregnant but since it is so early your period still comes? Is it possible to get pregnant right after your period?

    I'm cramping but I know it's not my period because I just had it. The 19th of Nov. I remember when I was pregnant with my daughter (a year ago) before I found out I was pregnant I was cramping and kept saying my period is coming but it never came. I feel the same way but my period just left. I took a pregnancy test a couple of days before my period was due and it was negative.

    Can I possibly be pregnant? I know it works on a system but nothing is 100% Are there any ladies out there that got pregnant right after of right before their period?

    It is possible to get pregnant right before your period. Your period shouldn't come once you are pregnant. It doesn't matter when the conception was.

    You may have bleeding but that is not your period. It could be implantation bleeding. You will feel cramping with this. You will also get cramps throughout your pregnancy because your uterus is stretching. Just remember that any bleeding during pregnancy is not your period.

    If your last period was on the 19th of Nov. then you should have ovulated yesterday. 14 days after the first day of your last period. This is the time you are most likely to get pregnant.

    When in doubt, after period is missed, take a test.

    If you happened to ovulate late or early in your cycle pregnancy is possible (my fourth was conceived right after a period). All you can do is wait and see what happens when your next period is due and test accordingly.

    Since you are trying, obviously do what you can to insure a healthy pregnancy and baby... eating well, taking your prenatal vitamins for extra insurance, avoiding things you know would be helpful, etc..

    Thank you for the response. I know I'm being impatient because I really want this. With my first 2 I said it will happen when it happen. My 3rd one was a surprise.

    I started taking my prenatal vitamins as soon as we decided that we wanted another baby.
