    Tissue discharge
I had a baby about four months ago, and I have never been on birth control until recently. I've been on it for a month. I'm on my first day of my period and my pad had a long skin like tissue not so much blood on it but thick and long tissue. What should I do?

You didn't mention if the discharge or tissue had a color. Since you are taking birth control for the first time and just had a baby, funny (strange, not ha ha) things will be happening. If you have insurance, does it provide a way to chat online or call a nurse for free advice. Mine has a chat link on their website. If not, write down exactly what you saw. I know of an article that deals with discharge and identifying what is normal and what is not. If after reading the article and you still are unsure, please call your doctor.

    Take care.

Scar tissue? [ 2 Answers ]

I had Callie spayed about a month and a half ago. Her incision seemed to be healing really well. I watched for puss and redness everyday. After a month went by I slacked off a bit and when I looked at it today and it is extremely puffy, raised, red, and hard. I think it's probably scar tissue but...
