    Other at fault but I have no license CA resident
    A lady hit my Jag from behiend totaled her car(she hit me at 60 miles a hour I was at a dead stop) but mine only has bumper damage but its my Jag and I want to know will her insurance pay for my car. The police didn't come said they were very busy for us to exchange info what should I do :mad: pLease some one help it was thanksgiving night and raining she said she didn't slow down and here judgement was off YOU THINK!!

    Hello j:

    No cops, no ticket for you. That's good. She's at fault. So, her damages are her responsibility.

    Make a claim on her insurance carrier for your bumper. At 60, I'm surprised you don't have any bodily damage, like whiplash. If you do, you can sue her.

    Obviously, you didn't give her YOUR drivers license or YOUR insurance information, because you DON'T have any. If she's was OK with that, than that's that.

    The fact that YOU were driving illegally yourself has NO bearing on your damages and your ability to collect.
