What do you think of this picture? Androgynous?
So the last really hot guy I was starting to hangout with at one point revealed to me he thought "androgyny is so much hotter than those models in those magazines" (and I'm pretty sure he was implying that's why he liked me, he considered me androgynous).

I was a bit taken aback. Not because I've never been called masculine or boyish, I sure as heck have. And not because I think there's anything inherently wrong with androgyny. DEFINITELY not because I'd believed I came across as a girly-girl (HECK no!) Rather, just because I would like to think I could appeal to some attractive, fit young men who WEREN'T strictly attracted to androgyny. Because I believe the fact is, most men are a bit repelled by anything they perceive as being at all "masculine" (whole homophobia thing going on there, I guess).

These pictures are from Halloween (thus the border-line trashiness), but I'm curious what some anonymous peoples think. Am I definitely someone you'd describe as "androgynous"? Or do you think plenty (most?) men would find me reasonably attractive by typical female standards or consider dating me?

If it'll make you feel less put-on-the-spot, I'm actually attracted to women as well. So I don't think being androgynous-looking would be the end of the world or anything. Rather, I'm curious whether my general feeling that women tend to be more attracted to me than men is all in my head or what...

Looking androgynous can be a one day thing. Do you act like It?

Honestly, perhaps one could say you are, a little bit. On the other hand, no offense but I think you're hot, not necessarily in an androgynous way.

YEP! but attraction and labels are such a personal thing, I can only speak for myself. You're sufficiently curvy (haven't heard your voice), so I think your clothing choice probably has the biggest influence on how you are regarded. Androgyny for me would be people for whom I couldn't decide whether to say m'am or sir to. Pat from the show Saturday Night Live would be an example. I can't recall ever meeting someone like that.
