    What is the difference between Metoprolol SUCC ER and Metoprolol

    The Metoprolol SUCC ER is an extended release medication wherein it is released slowly over time versus the Metoprolol which is released quickly after being taken. They are both beta blockers and usually used for high blood pressure.
