    Light stays on in the oven
    I have a kenmore Elite range and when I close the door the oven light stays on.
    Ido hear a click in the digatal control panel but the light won't go out.

    You have a defective door lite switch button. Also check to be sure the oven lite switch on the panel is not turned on.
