    Amana electric dryer limit fuse
The limit fuse on my dryer keeps blowing, the dryer doesn't seem to be over heating,is there any thing else that can cause it to blow besides excessive heat? Like timer or wires?

Steffanwise- I believe that you are talking about the heat protectors on the dryer ; if they keep blowing like you say then you have a short someplace in the circuit , you neerd to have a appliance person come and check it out for you , to do the checking he will have to do is risky and 220 volts has no forgiveness ; stay safe ;; GOOD luck and GOD BLESS ::F.B.E.

Clogged dryer vent causes a restriction and that can cause a overheat condition.
