    Oven door won't close !
I have an old Westinghouse wall oven- Coppertone color no less! It was in the house when we bought it 32 years ago. The model # is OC821XT1- I think. Over the past several years the door would "catch" just before it was closed. Like something was blocking it. A couple of hard tries and it would eventually close with a slam. Now, it gets to the same point but won't close completely. This leaves about an inch to 1 1/2 opening at the top of the door. Could something have shifted in the slots the "arms" go into. How do I fix this? Thanks for any ideas! Happy Holidays!

Yes, the door has shifted down in a slot which is normally used to remove the oven door. You have to take the door off and relocated it into the proper slot. Sorry, that's the only way I can explain it. That is a big problem with old wall ovens, unfortunately gravity always has its way !

The door moves down a few inches and stops. If I pull it manually and press the remote it does close. There is no problem opening it with the remote. The sensors are aligned. Thanks
