    New lp Payne furnace burner rumbles
    Installed new Payne furnace in August of 2008,last week burner started rumbling. People have checked it out and can't seem to find the problem. It's a high efficiently furnace.

    The pressures for the gas might not be set properly. I am sure you followed the manufactures install instructions for that item.

    Pressures been checked 3 times.the pressures is set a bit lower than should be so we can use it it still is noisey he is trying to contac maker.

    If installed only 4 months ago I would call the installer,most companies offer a 1 year free labor deal,, he should come and help with the prob., sounds like a maybe (need to look at ) item

    Probably something done wrong when the LP conversion was done. Non professional install is the problem.

    Rumbling on Payne Furnace solved!!
    There are 2 fresh air vents on the furnace; only 1 needed for one side. The installer forgot to install plug on the other fresh air vent.It works great;can't even hear it run now.

    Leaving that plug out is not very professional that is for sure. Glad the problem is corrected.
