My boyfriend of almost a year, who has a fake passport and visa from India, moved me from Ohio to California. When I got there, he took almost $5, 000.00 of my money. We got an apartment together, which he was a co-signer on ( he showed his fake passport as proof of identity). I stayed there only 3 days before he told me he was moving to another part of California. I was out $1, 650.00 on this lease. He left me there, in this apartment, which had nothing in it, with no money. Needless to say, I spent a lot of time and money, and he took a lot of my money. Plus he signed this lease with me under a false name, and let them copy his false passport. He is in this country illegally. He continues to work here, and so does his family. He owes me a lot of money. And part of the reason that he left the sate of Ohio in the first place was because the store his family owns, and that he was working at, had 12 felony counts against him, so he fled before he got in trouble. So, basically, I want to know how I can get my money back, I have proof of everything, and how I can have him deported, I have a copy of his fake passport as well.

First off I kind of doubt a reputable business would hire him with a fake passport and visa... why are you so sure it's a fake ID?

I would suggest first off you sue him for his half of the rent and or termination fees on this apartment. Most likely if the name (and his papers) are truly fake this will all come out when the case gets filed and from that point if he is truly illegal in the US it will be discovered.

If he is there legally at least you can have a judgement against him for the rent money.

[The business he was working for was his family's business. And I know it was a fake passport and visa because he told me it was. He told me how he got here and how he had to pay $3,500.00 for the passport. He doesn't even have a social security number. The name on the passport isn't even his real name. Thanks for the response
