    Contact your bank and see if they will issue you a card. I'm surprised you aren't getting junk mail offering you cards. Is your husband over 18?

    Because if he is under 18 then he can't legally sign a contract. As long as he's over 18 he can. Unless he has ver bad credit, he shouldn't have any problem getting a card. Like I said, I'm surprised you are getting junk mail offering you cards.

    You may need to start with a secure credit card. Low limit - maybe $200. Use it and pay it off every month and it won't be long before they are raising the limit.
