    Bathroom re-tiling
    Hi,

Due to a leak deep inside my studio coop / apt. my toilet had to be removed. I am taking this opportunity to replace the tile on the floor and possibly along all of the walls. The bathroom is small but the contractor is, I feel, being forced on me by the super of the building.

How much (i.e. price range ballpark figure) should it cost for the labor to tile an uncomplicated bathroom floor that measures 5 ft. by 6 ft. I already know the cost of the tile.

How much should it cost to re-glaze a bathtub and take out, clean, and re-install sliding glass shower doors?

I've never done any work before and this just happened. Unfortunately, I do not have the luxury of waiting (since my only toilet is sitting on my dressing room floor).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tiling a 30 s/f room should not run more than $150 labor only. However, this job wll require more than tiling labor. The old tile needs to come up and the floor leveled, possibly resheeted with backer board. In that scenario you are now well over $500 and that's Mid-west pricing
