No hot water after installing a new faucet
We are in the process of a bathroom remodel. We installed new faucets in the shower and whirlpool bathtub. Before the remodel we had hot water. Now we have no hot water in the shower or tub.
We had to resweat the plumbing because all the single handle faucets would not fit the old fittings. The water comes out fine but no hot water. There is hot water everywhere else in the house and the 2 sinks in the master bath. Already adjusted the no burn adjustments on both the shower and tub with no success.
Both fixtures have the single handle. With the handle turned down for the off position and if you turn it all the way around it should be hot but coming out cold.
The only thing we see may be a problem is the hub was at a 90 degree angle. What I mean is the handle should be in the down position for off but it is a little off to the side instead of straight down. Will this have something to do with it? The shower handle is installed correctly. Thanks for the help
