    Careers for Felons
I am a college degreed, licensed professional in a construction related field and had my own business. I was convicted of a drug related class G felony. I now find myself with no business, a bad credit rating and unable to get a job answering a telephone for $7.50/hr. Is there any assistance available? Are there any good options available for felons?

Considering if you can still do the physcial part of construction, you should find work fairly easy. Also why not start back your own business, sub contracting, and the such. I have a friend who has 5 or 6 felonies, is out on bond right now and works every day in the construction business, I know one company where I would guess 1/2 or more ( most likely more) of all of the workes are ex cons.

Everything depends on what you were arrested for, I am also a felon and my felony was for possession of a weapon (Worst kind). If it was a drug charge you will likely get a better job than me. What type of career do you want? Did you apply for an article 23 certificate of relief for disabilites? It restores your rights as a citizen.
