    Weekly salary
    How do I determine what I'm going to be making weekly at my new job after taxes.

    Hourly pay is $9.00,
    - 8:30am-5:00pm
    - minus a 45 min lunch
    - Monday through Friday
    - I only have myself to claim on taxes that all

    Your gross pay is $348.75/week. If you are paid weekly, they will deduct $21.62 for social security, $5.06 for medicare, and about $27.22 for federal income tax (this is an estimate). This will leave you with about $294.85/week take home. Depending on where you live you could have state/local income tax withheld as well. You may also have other deductions, such as medical/dental insurance.
