    How to get bonded in Texas
    I need to know if I have to be a contractor to get bonded for a roofing job in Texas, if not how do I get bonded?

    You get bonded by finding a insurance agent that sells bonds and get one.
    The cost to bond you will depend on many factors.
    If you are going to get a bond, that means you are going into the roofing business, now the building inspector may require you to be licensed in some manner.
