    Gateway wireless laptop
    My network is being detected but will not connect to the internet... help please:(

    Easiest thing to try would be to reboot the wireless router (unplug the power from the router for about 10 secs and plug it back in).

    If it's still not working after that try this:
    Click Start > Settings > Control Panel
    Double-click the Network Connections icon
    Right-click on your Wireless Network Adapter
    Click Repair

    Windows can usually automatically diagnose and fix your problem with pretty good success.
