Contact during menstration. Is it harmful?
What are the effects if you have sex during your period? Is it bad?
Is it safe also? Or will result to pregnancy?

There is nothing harmful about it, just a little messy. If you are okay with it as well as your partner... just have some towels handy, or do it in the shower for easy clean up!

Okay... your question was misleading. You never asked if you could get pregnant. You asked if it was safe and by this I thought you meant harmful to your body.
Do not rely on having sex during your period as a form of birth control.

Southern, in her first post she did ask if she would get pregnant. Sex = pregnancy. The only way that you will NOT get pregnant is to avoid sex. There is no form of birth control that is 100% effective.

Another question about this after a long time.. another thing happened related to this topic.
My partner and I did sex during the first day of my period... after 2 days(w/c is today) he noticed that he had a yellowish discharge. He observed it the whole day and seems like he was infected he didn't feel any pain except for that liquid coming out of him. But we're both sure that we don't have other sexual partners. We're very sure about that.

I would say see a doctor. If he's never had this before, there is a reason he has it now, and would be best answered by a doctor.

While there is a much reduced risk of pregnancy during your period it is still possible.
I have asked my doctor about this before and he said that the male should wear a condom to prevent him getting any infections, because you are actively bleeding, there is also a risk of infection to you.
A benefit of sex during your period is that having an orgasm reduces pain from cramping because of those lovely little endorphins surging through your system.
Put on a condom and have fun :)

Every time I get my period, it is very long. It is so long that sometime I thought I have period 2 times in a month. I barely get a break between my period. Does anybody know if that is abnormal or not? Can you tell me?
