Um, I kind of have a weird question. Im a nerd, simply put. About two months ago, my sophomore class (im 15) elected me as homecoming prince as a mean joke. Well, I decided it would go well on a college transcript, so decided to go through with it. The joke kind of backfired on them, seeing as my princess was gone the day of the pep rally and I got to walk with the Miss Teen of my state. She's 18, graduated from my high school last year, and is definitely pageant caliber. I kind of have a dilemma seeing as I kind of like her now. Here's a couple things I'm worried about.

Age: three years is a lot if I'm 15. Also, think car issues...

Gender: females are usually the younger in the couple, especially at this age

Height: she the same height as me, but beauty queens like to wear heels...

Im not chasing after this girl because I'm desperately in love; I think I could be in a good relationship, and having spent some,e time with her (were friends now and regularly communicate, have met several times since then), I think she is a really nice person. We have a lot of things in common, such as a love for animals and travel.

You need to understands that I'm the type of person who goes home and does homework over the weekend. I don't dream of girls or think any of the stuff typical teenagers think.

Therefore, fellow students would be surprised if I went out with anyone, especially her. The week after homecoming, everyone was extremely jealous of me. If I start dating, it needs to be a cement relationship.



So, based on the essay that I just wrote for you there, are there too many things that are wrong with this potential relationship?


Can it work? She has a boyfriend at this time, and I'm not the type to purposely break it up; I'm just asking hypothetically, just in case.

I guess at this point in time you just continue as friends. If and when she breaks up with her current you could ask her out on a date. But don't expect a positive reply. She might surprise you though. Women generally figure out that the jocks in high school are so dumb they have a hard time finding their own shoes without mommies help. If you get my drift.

It is so hard to say, I dated a girl 2 years older than me in high school and had no real issue. I still think of her very fondly after all of these years.

So all you can do is be her friend and see where things go.

I was just wondering if she even likes you in that way. You might hang out or whatever but that doesn't mean that she likes you as boyfriend material considering she's already in a relationship. Plus the age difference I think makes a big difference as well. I wouldn't let her know that you see her as a girlfriend because you just might scare her away and she will think that she is giving you the wrong signals and idea of the two of you and stop talking to you. Sorry.:(
