    Furnace Blower compartment safety switch
    The furnace is not working and prior to purchasing a control board, I am trying to find the blower compartment safety switch. The exhaust pipe was accidentally moved when a new roof was installed. Perhaps the safety switch has been thrown. I am not able to find it. Hopefully someone can tell us where to look...

    It has to activate by the door. Usually it's wired to minimize wire. It can also be in the middle of the door. It may not be a conventional pin switch. Could be a large are momentary type switch.

    Your vent getting tweeked will not disturb your blower compartment safety switch. Maybe let us know exactly what is happening with your furnace, and we might be able to save you buying a control board.
