Starting menopause+exhaustion?
I believe that I am starting menopause. I just turned 40 a couple of days ago, and have been feeling so tired that I can barely move. I went to the doctor for blood work and he didn't find anything wrong. But right now I can barely move. Any tips, foods, vitamins, something to get me moving?? I feel like I have been sitting in the same place for a week. I don't have any energy to do anything, I haven't been dressed in two days. I did manage to shower, but couldn't work up enough energy to put on anything but pjs.

This does not sound like menopause to me. It sounds like you hopefully have a B vitamin deficiency or a minor form of depression.
You can take a B vitamin complex that will help with the energy, you can even get a B12 shot from your doc.
Do you have any extra stressors going on right now? Have you been eating properly?
Are you having any other symptoms other than exhaustion? Things like missing periods, night sweats or hot flashes, shakes, irritability, those are more symptomatic of menopause.

Wouldn't a b vitamin deficiency show up in my blood work? As for other stressors, well you know, the usual, not enough time to get everything done, expenses more than salary, just what goes on in day to day life. I do have a shoulder injury that doesn't hurt all the time but when it does it like the ****ens. Was given naproxon for it but all that does is upset my stomach. Some type of muscle pull that I'm supposed to go the pt for, but would rather be sleeping when I go.

B vitamin deficiency will not necessarly show up on blood work unless the doc ordered the panel to check for the deficiency. You should contact your doc to see if this panel was ordered.
Most of the thime they are looking for hormone levels, cholesterol, etc, that sort of thing when doing a routine blood screening.
In the meantime it will benefit you to take a multi-vitamin supplement. All of the stressors you mentioned can tend to exhaust you, a multi-vitamin may just be the pick-me-up you need.

Ah, turning 40 is nothing... I turn 42 next month. ;) It is all a state of mind. If you let it depress you it will. You just got to look back and say "Thank goodness I am not 19 again!" :p Not knocking 19 year olds, I wish I still looked 19, but we have so much more knowledge now.
I take a multi-vitamin that I get at GNC, it is very helpful. Also, make sure you follow a good diet, get enough rest (go to bed at the same time every night and get up at the same time every morning) and avoid alcohol.
All of this will help boost your energy.
