    Hello j:

If you have a felony conviction, it will show up on a background check. I can't really tell if that's what you're asking, but I think so.

If you WERE convicted and you want to HIDE it, get your record expunged. You'll need a lawyer to do that.

As I advised you yesterday when you asked about expunging your criminal record, Alaska has no provision to do so and you cannot hide a criminal record if a background check is run. Your record, likewise, cannot be "sealed." Alaska is not a forgiving State.

    Hello again, J:

That Judy is one hell of an investigator. If'in you need to find out sumtin, she's your girl.

If they don't have expungement in Alaska, they surly got pardons. I'd apply for one. Yes, you're going to need a lawyer for that one too.

    Hello again, j:

Uhhhh, Dude. Did you miss the post right smack ABOVE your last one?? The one ^^^^ up there?? The one where I said you should apply for a pardon?? THAT one??

A PARDON will not only make your conviction disappear from all PUBLIC records, it will also make it disappear from all the COPS records too. An expungement, or even sealing your files wouldn't do that.

Yup, a PARDON. That's the ticket...

Now, do they hand them out like candy?? Nope, but they DO hand them out. Right now, I don't know why you couldn't get yourself one.

I am setting a toilet on a tile floor. In the past I have used two wax seals, one with the flange and one without. The standard size does not seem to seal to the toilet base. How high should the wax extend above the floor and can I use two seals with the flange?
