    I want to change my status
    :) :) :)
    Right now I'm in kaplan institute and my wife study in university of north Alabama.
    Right now we both are on f1 status.
    Can she change her status from f1 to f2.

    If she remains on F-1, the advantage is she would be eligible for OPT while you are not qualified for this. It's better to change your status to F-2 and she remains on F-1. Contact International Office at her school on how to file for change of status.
