Pernicious Spybot
I installed Spybot. Now it keeps wanting to scan my computer and when it finishes it wants to only sell me some program to fix the many problems it has supposedly found. I Uninstalled it, yet it keeps putting a window on my screen that I have a security problem.
Is this ligitimate or just a scare so I will buy their program? How can I rid this window bothering me every few seconds? Thanks |

The legit Spybot does NOT ask you to pay to fix issues it finds. Best to remove the one you have installed. The real one is here: The home of Spybot-S&D!
