OK I don't understand see my boyfriend has not seen his child for all of his life and he's like 4 or 5 now but umm he's neva seen him or herd about him or nothing and my boyfriend has been trying to trying get rights but the mother of there child lied and made this big story up saying he beat her and she's keeping her chld away from him because she don't trust him or something but there was neva any police reports or nuttin and she told everyone else the only reason she said that was because she don't want my boyfriend to see him ever so she admitted to lying but she won't tell the truth in front of the court so any way he hasn't sen him he's been trying to and no nothing but this chick is taking him for support and ii feel bad for my boyfriend because he's neva hit me at all he's sooo sweet and ii been wit for 1 now and were exspecting and all our moneys going there and he don't even get to see pictures of his baby to her or nothing no info my boyfriend balls everynite over this so he said well when he turns 18 his son will come to find him and was just going to sign his rights over so he wouldn't hafta pay support for a child he don't see or no nothing about... which I kind of understand him, I mean when you adopt children off that TV advertisein to help them with there education and stuff you at least gets picks of them and updates about them but my bfs own bloood and she won't tell him nothing!! But everyone's saying even if he signs his rights up hell still pay support

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

Whoever answered that question on wiki answers doesn't know the law.

There are hundreds of threads on this forum that all amount to the same thing. The bottomline is that a termination of parental rights is generally granted in two situations. To clear the way for an adoption or because the parent represents a danger to the child. A TPR is never granted just to allow a parent out of paying support.

However state laws vary. Some states do terminate responsibility with rights and some don't. In those places that terminate both its even harder to get a TPR.

So what your boyfriend needs to do is go to court and fight for visitation.

As scott said please use full words and complete sentences. It is much easier to understand and you will get more and better answers that way. Second, your boyfriend needs to go to court to get visitation. To make it a little easier he can hire an attorney to go to court with him and help him with his case. He can not just give up his rights it just doesn't happen like that if it did there would be millions people in lines around the blocks of every court house to have their rights terminated.
