How do I remove a bracelet that's too small?
Silly question I know... my friend put on what looks to me like some type of stone bracelet and now she can't get it off. She's tried soap but still can't get it off. I told her I could get my bolt cutters and cut it off but apparently it cost around $350 and that's not an option. :-) I told her maybe baby oil would work because it would help soften the skin but her skin is already so soft I don't know that that would help either. Is there some trick to this we're overlooking or something else we could try? Thanks.

Put her arm under cold water, then put it under warm water while simultaneously pulling the bracelet off. Cold contracts and warm expands. Make sure you hold the bracelet under cold water until the stone and metal gets cold.

I think this was a good answer Spyder. She was took big a wuss to put her arm under cold water for any amount of time because she's so cold natured, but we just put some liquid soap on it and pulled it off. Apparently she didn't pull hard enough when she tried that before but I applied a little more strength. ;-) She ow'd but we got it off with no damage to her or the bracelet. LOL

Gold Bracelet Id? [ 1 Answers ]

Hello- My great aunt passed away and I found this bracelet in her jewellery box. It is very heavy and has the number 750 on the latch. It also has a mark that I truly can't make out. I think it's an "S" or "M" in a box. Thanks for any help!
